TAMPA, Fla. – Thirty-six of the U.S.’s best and brightest soccer talents were called into the U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team camp this week at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Three of the boys called in have plied their trade in the USL’s Super Y-League. Jean Orvil (West Pines United), Malcolm Dixon (New York Red Bulls) and Nicholas Hinds (Plantation FC) were among those called into camp.
Orvil, a veteran of the 2010 Super Y-League North American Finals, is a native of Miramar, Florida and lines up as a defender. Orvil was part of the West Pines side that reached the Boys U13 division semifinals last November, being selected to the division’s All-Tournament team.

Dixon participated in the 2010 Super Y-League North American Finals with the New Jersey Stallions, where the powerful forward proved to be a handful for defenders. Dixon was named to the U13 All-Tournament Team after he scored two goals and added two assists for the Stallions. Hinds, who also lines up at forward, played for Florida powerhouse Plantation FC.
U.S. Soccer Director of Scouting Tony Lepore will lead the U-15 Boys through their paces this week. The U.S. Under-15 National Team program is designed to help identify talent in the U.S. player pool with an eye towards sending players to U.S. Soccer’s Under-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, Florida and the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates
