West Pines United FC is pleased to formally announce Walgreens as their Corporate Sponsor for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.  The inception of this relationship began during the West Pines United Earthquake Relief for the People of Haiti, where the two organizations merged their relief efforts towards this catastrophy & raised upwards of $4000 for this worthy cause. Todd Goodman, West Pines United FC’s President & Tommy LeHoczsky, Walgreen’s Community Leader, served as the two major catalysts behind this unprecedented joint venture. Their long-standing friendship can be traced back to their childhood soccer playing days in Miami which culminated in them co-captaining Miami-Dade South CC to the 1983 NJCAA National Championship. Goodman & LeHoczsky were then awarded full soccer scholarships to the University of Central Florida & University of North Carolina Greensboro, respectively. 

Todd Goodman reflects on this announcement, "We’re estatic to align ourselves with Walgreens, who not only have national name recognition, but share the same core values of our grass roots community organization. This will be a relationship that will certainly benefit all involved".
