Joseph Ghitis is the goalkeeper for the undefeated U13 SYL Champion, West Pines United. His team tore through the North American Finals, going 3-0-0 in group play while outscoring their opponents 13-1. They dispatched a very good PDA team, 3-0 in the semifinals before battling Ironbound to a 5-4 decision in the final. A traditional Chanukah celebration and a mystery lump of coal highlight Ghitis’ post-Christmas wrap-up.
