U16 Premier Boys Win 2011 Disney College Showcase
Claiming their biggest victory in over a year, the West Pines United FC U 16 Premier Boys Black team took the title in the top division of the prestigious 2011 Disney Soccer College Showcase played in Orlando in December. In front of scores of college coaches and the cameras of ESPN, West Pines used strong defense and timely offense for the victory and a sweet end to an eventful year.

Two Wins Conclude Southern Premier League For U-16 Boys
Playing against two teams from Georgia at the FYSA facility in Auburndale, WPU faced last place NASA Elite on Saturday. Determined to break out of a goal scoring funk, Neicolance Regent, assisted by Jamar Campion Hindes, got the boys off to a fast start with his fourth-minute goal. Despite controlling the game, West Pines couldn’t find the net again and the 1-0 score held through the half.

The West Pines United Futbol Club (WPU), offers a year-round competitive soccer environment for girls 8–19 years of age who are interested in taking their game to a higher level. The club’s main focus is on individual player development within the framework of team building. Player placement is largely determined at our annual try-outs with the competitive level of each team determined during pre-season training.

FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 4, 2011) – US Youth Soccer is proud to announce the 120 teams chosen to compete in the 2011-2012 US Youth Soccer National League season. The league, entering into its fifth season, is for top Under-15 through Under-18 Boys and Girls club soccer teams with each team having an individual proven track record of continued success in US Youth Soccer programs.

Three Super Y Players to U15 U.S. National Team
TAMPA, Fla. – Thirty-six of the U.S.’s best and brightest soccer talents were called into the U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team camp this week at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Three of the boys called in have plied their trade in the USL’s Super Y-League. Jean Orvil (West Pines United), Malcolm Dixon (New York Red Bulls) and Nicholas Hinds (Plantation FC) were among those called into camp.

U16 Boys Black Team: Ranked 4th in the Nation
The 2011-2012 West Pines United Boys U-16 team is excited about the coming season. Last year’s successes, an infusion of new talent, and a rigorous off-season training program have the boys straining at the bit as their current season begins. As in recent years, they will face plenty of tough competition but they are eager to test their skill and resolve against the best youth soccer teams in the nation.

West Pines United U12 Boys Win Florida Cup: Ready For New Season
It was the first tournament for the new-look U12 Black team, after an off-season of change, but the competitiveness of the players, new coach, Alvin James, and the reactions of the fans, said it all - these boys are ready for action. The “Boys of Black and Gold” were not content on being second best. At the end of it all, it was West Pines United, who came out on top as U.S. Club Soccer - Florida Cup Champions, Southern Division.
